Around Collyvale
Fumble
Mistake-maker · Always willing to try again
Fumble is a soft, slightly floppy Collyvale creature who throws a whole heart into new things. Sometimes the plan works. Sometimes it absolutely does not.
Fumble may blush or feel embarrassed, but learns that a mistake is not the end of the adventure.
“It's not about getting it right first time — it's about not giving up.”
A little closer
A few things about Fumble
Cheerful and enthusiastic
Fumble loves trying new things, even when the first attempt goes a little sideways.
Easily flustered
A mistake can bring a blush and an 'oops' before Fumble remembers to pause.
Keeps trying
Fumble's courage is not getting everything right — it is having another go.
Try Again Token
A tiny token reminds Fumble that mistakes can be steps towards learning.
Charming untidiness
A slipping scarf, crooked backpack and nearly-tied laces are simply part of Fumble.
Kind to other learners
Because Fumble knows what mistakes feel like, Fumble is gentle when someone else gets something wrong.
Fumble's special role
Fumble helps children explore mistakes, embarrassment, perseverance and the useful little word yet. The aim is not perfection; it is learning that trying again can be brave.
