When a worry feels big, Pebble has four gentle steps: stop, breathe, notice what's around you and choose what might help.

There is no need to rush through the steps. Pebble's reminder is simple: “Slow is still moving.”

Find a comfy spot, put both feet on the ground and be still for a moment.
Breathe in slowly through your nose and blow out slowly like Pebble's snorkel. Repeat three times.
Notice three things you can see, two things you can hear and one thing you can feel.
A cuddle, someone to talk to, something comforting, somewhere quiet, a drink of water or a little break.
The card works best as a gentle prompt rather than a set of instructions a child must complete. You can try the steps together and let the child choose which ones feel useful. If a child is very upset, connection and reassurance may come before any activity.
Meet Pebble
Pebble is calm, curious and happiest exploring Collyvale's waterways. Pebble reminds us that going slowly can still get us where we need to go.
