Checks sit next to flowers, stripes next to dots. You can always find a new favorite.

The canopy moves a little

When a breeze comes through, the hanging fabric lifts and the patterns change shape in the shade.

Flowers like the edges

The small wildflowers grow right beside the quilt, where the grass meets the path.

A cushion can become a seat

Or a prop for a story. The round coral one is especially hard to overlook.

There’s room to linger

The log stools are close enough for someone to sit and read aloud without climbing onto the quilt.

The book will still be there

A breeze may turn its pages, but nobody knows who will read the next one first.
